WEBSITE RESEARCH

I have done some research into billboard magazine website page, upon their website they show digital conversion between both the physical and online copy. Within their physical copies they had very sleek simplistic sans-serif text and this is then carried forward onto the website. As you access the website they have their main headline taking up most of the layout on the main page and as expected similarly to the hard copy they then follow up with their 'more headlines' section. The linked tabs at the top are based on numerous different genres of music to cater to a larger audience base. All links are the same sort of layout, with the simplistic sans-serif fonts used and plain white background with the black text overtop.

TITLE FONT IDEAS

The font of my magazine will be important as it is what will decipher the feeling of my magazine overall.

I have done some research into the top 7 most popular fonts used by graphical designers;

Top 7 Graphic Design Fonts

I currently think the best look for my magazine will be a taller font, similar to ELLE fitting the masthead at the very top of my cover image.
I have been doing some research on 'dafont' to give me ideas and inspiration on what font I think will best fit my magazine, here are some I feel fit my desired approach. I liked these and picked these specific few as they are tall as i wanted but also simplistic, I want a simplistic feel to my title as it doesn't over crowd the background whilst sitting in the foreground, it can then be easily recognised and doesn't blend or doesn't seem unbalanced. Out of the collective 4 I think the best font to support my magazine image would be 'Lionello'
